Forget about diamonds, perfume is a girl’s real best friend. We all have that one signature scent — the one smell that not only compliments your personality but is really expensive as well.
Unfortunately, most perfumes don’t leave you smelling like chocolate heaven or a flower field the whole day. We found the secret to making your perfume last the whole day:
1. Spray it on your clothes. The fibers in clothes are able to hold a scent for a very long time.
2: Rub vaseline or unscented lotion on first. The ointment holds the perfume to your skin longer than if you were to spray it onto dry skin.
3. Spray your perfume right after taking a shower as the moisture on your skin will help lock in your perfume.
4. Spray the perfume on your hairbrush so your hair will be lightly scented and you’ll get a whiff of your perfume every time you move (this one is our favorite! ).
5. Don’t store your perfume bottles in your bathroom because heat, light, and humidity can lessen the intensity of the fragrance. Instead, store your perfume bottles in a cool, dry place and away from windows.
