We admit we love a traditional fruit cake. But not everyone does, so we always make sure we’ve got something special for our Christmas lunch … something guaranteed to please everyone. This year we’re fancying this lovely Vanilla Dream torte, layered with Chantilly cream and topped with white chocolate shavings, from Chateau Gateaux. Add a few sprigs of appropriate greenery and some festive pomegranate seeds and … voilà … Christmas on a plate.
