Organic Peace Silk Exfoliating Soap – R207
This is handmade by The Silk Lady using organically certified ingredients and has a soft scent of grapefruit.
The surface structure of the silk cocoons is softly abrasive which helps to remove impurities and dead skin, revealing a silky smooth and radiant skin complexion underneath.
When soaked in warm water, silk’s protein Sericin is released which has a moisturising and anti-oxidant effect. Sericin acts as a thin film over the skin, sealing in moisture to keep skin hydrated. It resists oxidation, is antibacterial, UV resistant and absorbs and releases moisture easily.
Many studies provide evidence of the healing properties of Sericin since it operates in stimulating the migration, proliferation and production of collagen. It assists in healing injured or chapped skin, damage from dust or UV and eases inflammation.
This product does not contain any artificial colourants, fragrances, mineral oils, preservatives or detergents.

The Organic Peace Silk Beauty Cocoons – R375 (pack of 30)
How do they work?
- Soak the Organic Peace Silk Beauty Cocoons in warm water (40 ° C) for a few minutes until the cocoon softens.
- Remove any access makeup and cleanse your skin.
- Place the cocoon on your index finger and rub it over the face in small circular motions.
- The cocoons are popular for use around areas that are prone to fine lines, like the eyes and the mouth.
- The silk cocoon can be used up to two-three times. Just let it dry out sheltered from the sun.
