Calling all Run Your City series supporters … the Joburg 10K CITYRUN will go VIRTUAL in 2021!
An exciting extension of the Run Your City Series events, the Joburg 10K CITYRUN Virtual Edition will take place on Friday, September 24 and will be the perfect ‘active’ start to all Heritage Day Celebrations with runners and walkers from all corners of South Africa uniting (virtually) in a spirit of camaraderie, pride and celebration.
The Run Your City series has partnered with GivenGain. When entering the Joburg 10K CITYRUN Virtual Edition online, runners can choose to support one of the event’s existing charities, or they can start their own fundraising page and support a cause that lies close to their hearts.
The vent will support four iconic Joburg based charities: The Reach For A Dream Foundation (RFAD), Cotlands, Johannesburg SPCA and Johannesburg Heritage Foundation.
A Run Your City Series tracking app will be available to download and will feature real-time tracking of splits, overall position and ranking.
At an entry fee of R225, each entrant will receive a Race Pack to the value of R350
