Calling all home cooks and dinner party hosts extraordinaire! It is time to dust off your apron, pick an extravagant dress code and bring out your inner entertainer.

BBC Lifestyle is on the hunt for SA’s most interesting personalities to join the latest season of Come Dine With Me South Africa, set to launch later this year.

Dishing up a smorgasbord of captivating viewing, sumptuous dishes and a few hilariously awkward moments, the SAFTA award-winning competition, Come Dine With Me South Africa caters to everyone.

In each episode, four strangers take turns to try and achieve dinner party perfection. After four nights of spicy conversation, palate teasing (or testing!) dishes and some secret scoring that reveals the host with the most – the winner takes home a R10 000 cash prize.

If you think you have what it takes to host a winning dinner party, then you have until May 4 to apply here. You must be aged 18 years or older and stay in either Joburg or Cape Town.
