<\/p>\nFoodies are in for a tasty treat as The Great South African Bake Off class of 2023 has been announced. And, one of our very own \u2013 Molebatsi Moagi from Randfontein – has made the cut!<\/p>\n
A database and systems administrator by day, and baker by night, Molebatsi has refined his skills in baking cakes, biscuits, macarons, laminated pastries and tarts. Yum!<\/p>\n
In his free time, this all-rounder loves playing the piano, listening to music and writing. He will be one of 12 bakers to take on the ultimate baking challenges and compete to be crowned South Africa\u2019s best amateur baker.<\/p>\n

The 10-part series, judged by chefs Siba Mtongana and Paul Hartmann and presented by Lesego Tlhabi and Glen Biderman-Pam, will premiere on Wednesday, August 9 at 8pm on BBC Lifestyle, DStv channel 174. It will be repeated Thursdays at 5pm.<\/p>\n
