WE LOVE OUR JOBS. BUT WHEN FRIDAY ROLLS AROUND AND IT\u2019S TIME FOR THE WEEKEND, WE DO LOVE TO CELEBRATE WITH A COCKTAIL.<\/strong><\/p>\n

We\u2019ve found five amazingly moreish cocktails, all made with Absolut Watermelon \u2026 is a perfectly balanced combo of crystal clear vodka and fresh, natural watermelon sweetness. It beautifully lends itself to easy-to-mix drinks and is super versatile in cocktails.
\nHere are a few options to spark your creativity at home:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

ABSOLUT WATERMELON SPRITZ
\n<\/em><\/strong>Absolut Watermelon has a rich, smooth taste profile with the distinct character of watermelon juice, complemented with underlying hints of spiciness that ends up in a creamy and juicy mouthfeel. This makes it ideal to be combined with sparkling wine for a light and fruity spritz.<\/p>\n

You\u2019ll need:<\/strong> 30ml Absolut Watermelon, 90 ml sparkling wine, watermelon cubes, 5ml simple syrup
\nTo make:<\/strong> Muddle the watermelon cubes into a shaker and add the vodka and the simple syrup. Fine strain into a wine glass and top it up with sparkling wine. Garnish with a slice of watermelon and mint sprig.<\/p>\n

ABSOLUT WATERMELON AND TONIC
\n<\/em><\/strong>A refreshing take on the classic G&T, and the perfect drink for a sunny afternoon around the braai, any time of the year.<\/p>\n

You\u2019ll need:<\/strong> 45ml Absolut Watermelon, 90ml tonic
\nTo make:<\/strong> Pour both the ingredients in a glass and add ice to the top. Garnish with a slice of watermelon and lemon wheel.<\/p>\n

ABSOLUT WATERMELON MARTINI
\n\"\"<\/em><\/strong>The Martini: Clean. Classy. Oh, so classic. Absolut Watermelon has a slightly reduced abv (38%) which allows for a truly optimised flavour profile and balance. Served in a Martini glass and shaken (not stirred) allows it to truly shine and for you to enjoy with all your senses.<\/p>\n

You\u2019ll need:<\/strong> 45ml Absolut Watermelon, 20 ml simply syrup,\u00a0 watermelon cubes
\nTo make:<\/strong> Crush watermelon cubes in bottom of shaker. Add cubes of ice and all ingredients. Shake hard and strain into a martini glass. Garnish with a watermelon slice.<\/p>\n

ABSOLUT WATERMELON AND COLA<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"Vodka and cola is a tried and trusted go-to drink for many. The addition of the smooth watermelon flavour adds a whole new dimension to this long-standing favourite. It\u2019s the ideal mix with which to add a new level of flavour to your \u2018usual.\u2019<\/p>\n

You\u2019ll need:<\/strong> 45ml Absolut Watermelon, 90 ml Coke
\nTo make:<\/strong> Pour both the ingredients in a glass and add ice to the top. Garnish with a slice of watermelon and lime wedge on top.<\/p>\n

ABSOLUT <\/em>WATERMELON PUNCH
\n<\/em><\/strong>If there is a better way to celebrate sunshine and good times than with a crisp punch, we are yet to find it. It\u2019s great now, before the weather turns to chilly.<\/p>\n

You\u2019ll need:<\/strong> 150ml Absolut Watermelon, 20 watermelon cubes, 150ml lemon juice, 50ml simple syrup
\nTo make:<\/strong> Put watermelon cubes into a blender to get freshly squeezed juice and strain it into a pitcher. Pour the vodka, lemon juice and simple syrup and add ice to the top. Serve cold and garnish with a watermelon slice and lime wedge.<\/p>\n
