Margot de Kock, traveller, dog lover, cabin crew and adventurer, is our beautiful cover girl for October. A breath of fresh air, we grabbed her in between jaunts to far-flung places to find out more. Here’s a sneak peek of what you can expect!
What are your 5 favourite countries?
Australia. Prague. Malta. The Netherlands and France.
If there was one place you could choose to live, where would it be?
Australia! If you look past the sharks, jellyfish, spiders and anything else that could kill you, as well as understand the accent, Australia is pretty amazing. It might also be that the people there are a lot like us South Africans. They have the best sushi I’ve ever tasted and they have these snacks called TimTams which is something I stock up on like a chipmunk stocks up on acorns in the winter. I’m actually heading back to Brisbane this month!
Where do you hope to be in 5 years?
I would like to have been promoted to work in Business class. I would also love to become a part-time service trainer where I help train new-comers about the service we do onboard. I am hoping to study and get a degree, however, I’m still trying to figure out which direction I would like to go into.
