And a thrill a minute

We’re on the edge of our seats with this must-watch series on Showmax. Oscar nominees Jude Law and Naomie Harris star in The Third Day, a six-part psychological thriller set on an alluring and mysterious island. This delightfully dark show is divided into two parts. In ‘Summer’ a man visits a creepy island off the British coast and discovers a group of inhabitants intent on preserving their home at any cost. In the second half, ‘Winter,’ a strong-willed outsider comes to the island seeking answers, but instead causes a battle to decide its fate.

Then we’ve got a gripping sci-fi drama on Netflix. As American astronaut Emma Green (Hilary Swank) prepares to lead an international crew on the first mission to Mars, she must reconcile herself to her decision to leave behind her husband and teenage daughter when they need her the most. As the crew’s journey into space intensifies, their personal dynamics and the effects of being away from their loved ones back on Earth become increasingly complex. Away shows that sometimes, to reach for the stars, we must leave home behind.
