Take on a scenic endurance ride through the Karoo

If you’re an equestrian sportsperson looking for an escape, ready up your horses for the upcoming CompCare Camdeboo Endurance Ride through the scenic Camdeboo National Park in Graaf-Reinet.

The event proudly sponsored by CompCare Medical Scheme, takes place on 19 and 20 August. The soft course offers riders a 160km challenge on the Friday and a 120km challenge on the Saturday with the option to ride shorter sections along the routes for those wishing to participate for just some of the time.

“As the medical scheme of choice for adventure enthusiasts and professional sportspeople, CompCare is proud to sponsor an event that promises riders the opportunity to take on the great outdoors in one of the most beautiful, and often unexplored corners of our country,” says Josua Joubert, Chief Executive and Principal Officer of CompCare Medical Scheme.

“Those who enjoy a sporting challenge such as this understand and appreciate the physical and mental health benefits that come with engaging in an outdoor activity such as horseback riding. As one of the only medical schemes that provides cover for adventure sports we at CompCare are therefore only too happy to get involved in this particular event and we wish the participants all the best for a rewarding ride ahead,” concluded Joubert.
