Throwback to our childhood and ordering a plain waffle and ice cream and smothering it in the maple, strawberry, blueberry, honey, caramel and who even remembers what other sauces. We tried waffles drenched in ice cream and bananas at Route 66 and immediately realised a lot of love goes into making this. Dieter Boethke from Route 66 Diner and Museum ndid not want to share their secret ingredient or the recipe, handed down generation after generation, but invites all to come and enjoy this waffle and their
