DRINKS GALORE

After her interest in the distilling process, Centurion drama teacher Ansie de Beer decided to try her hand at gin making. She developed a recipe, found a distillery and Melodramatic: The Phantom was born. She’s won two awards since and says it’s a sipping gin that can be enjoyed neat, with tonic, or in a gin cocktail. Her theatric background is evident in the packaging and Ansie says The Phantom is the first release from her range. See if you can spot the phantom when you peek into the bottle, R389.
