“Candlewoods Boutique Venue is the most beautiful venue, in a quiet suburban area. Driving past on numerous occasions created dreams inside me, and as an old friend of mine always says, ‘If you can dream it, you can do it!’ The owners have known me for quite some time, and they offered me a lease agreement from March 2019 where I operate as business owner, Willie van Zyl explains.
From the first step onto the property it’s easy to see why so many couples decide to get married at Candlewoods Boutique Venue. The property boasts the most beautiful architectural features that gives the venue a contemporary classic feel. The chapel features the most beautiful stained-glass windows and the venue has the most impressive imported chandeliers. “The venue already had so much character, we only changed the menu and service according to our business standards,” Willie adds.
The Candlewoods Chapel officially opened on 1 December 2009 and the venue followed suit
in 2012.
So what sets Candlewoods Boutique Venue apart from all the other wedding venues in and around Pretoria, you might ask?
“Definitely our beautiful classic venue, personal attention, attention to detail and our mouth-watering menus. Every function is special to us and we want to put our signature on each,” Willie explains their philosophy.
Candlewoods Boutique Venue is the perfect venue for weddings, conferences, corporate functions, birthday functions, year-end functions, launches, team building and more. If you have a celebration, Candlewoods is the place to be.
For a formal function the venue can accommodate up to 180 guests and the minimum guest count for a function is 60. Conferences can be booked for between 15 and 100 guests.
Chapel wedding packages include chapel hire, the podium, a red carpet, rose petals as confetti, décor, flowers and more while the banquet hall package includes everything from welcoming drinks to flowers, the wedding cake and a cash bar. Trust us, their in-house catering and décor specialists will ensure an unforgettable experience.
Candlewoods also offers off-site catering and events. The in-house coordinating team will assist in all aspects of planning and logistics to ensure your event goes off without a hitch.
And don’t forget about the guesthouse on the estate. It has 17 rooms and a bridal cottage for you and your guests to stay at after partying the night away. Candlewoods Guest House is a Victorian style building with a pich roof and wooden windows. It dates back to 1859 and is built on a farm originally owned by Rasmus Erasmus. Surrounded by beautiful gardens and a great view over Centurion it’s the perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of city life. It is situated close to Centurion Mall, SuperSport Park, the Pretoria City Centre, Midrand and Johannesburg.
Oh, and while you are there make sure to check out the Spa de la Veille. Treatments include back, neck and shoulder massages, facials, manicures, pedicures, a romantic package for two, tanning treatments and a Roman Bath.
