Stuck at home with the kids trying to hang on to your sanity? Well, when last did you get some exercise? And no, we do not mean a walk around the block – although that is also a good idea.

One of our favourite local yogi’s, Linda van der Walt from Li Yoga, is hosting online yoga classes. No contracts, at a month to month basis and for only R199 per month.

“Our vision is to create a virtual yoga class through which we will continue giving to our existing students and new members and will also have the ability to reach out to even more people regardless of their location,” Linda says.

And the best part – these sessions can be done daily with the kids too.

“Practicing yoga brings the body into balance by strengthening weak muscles and stretching tight ones to keep you free from injury and pain. Even better? It actually relaxes you. The deep breathing calms your nervous system, while the poses help dissolve physical tension,” Linda says.

Join in two to three times per week for a 30 minute class and release some knots of tension or just calm a busy and sometimes stressed mind.

All you have to do is download the free Zoom (for classes) app, make a space in your home and show up.

To book your spot, join the WhatsAPP group and Linda will send you the correct link to follow.
