Help The Mask Co. to donate face masks to needy schools

With most schools re-opened we are all hugely concerned about the protection of our teachers, learners, their families and the spread of Coronavirus back into the community

However, so many less fortunate schools are simply not in the position to ensure they have sufficient protection, especially face masks.

That’s why the incredible team from The Mask Co. is working hard to donate 3 000 face masks to Quintile 1 schools in Montana, Wonderboom, Hammanskraal and Soshanguve, located in the Tshwane municipality.

‘We were researching NGOs for our export market when a letter from the Gauteng Department of Education arrived, asking us to donate masks. We realised we have to do this, but how? As a small business, our production costs and workers’ wages come first, so we decided to enlist the public’s help,” says The Mask Co. owners, Leone Amon and Nicci Hards.

The Mask Co.’s masks comply with European and national standards for both function and comfort, have D15 certified reusable filters and are sterilised before being packaged.

Want to make a huge difference? Sure, you do! Then donate towards the cost of as many masks as you can, every bit will help. Click here to donate.

Picnics in the Park, Drive-In and The Haunted Forest, is backing this initiative and will also donate one mask to the schools for every four it sells. For a full product range click here.

You can also buy these designer masks at the Broadacres Super Spar for only R65 each, but the option of bulk buying is also available.
