Difficulty: Very Easy. Prep and Cook: 20 minutes<\/p>\n<p><strong>You\u2019ll need:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>2 and \u00be cup flour<\/p>\n<p>2 tsp baking soda<\/p>\n<p>Heaped \u00bc tsp salt<\/p>\n<p>2 tsp ginger<\/p>\n<p>1 tsp cinnamon<\/p>\n<p>\u00bd tsp allspice<\/p>\n<p>12 TBSP soft butter<\/p>\n<p>\u00bc cup sugar<\/p>\n<p>1 egg<\/p>\n<p>\u00bc cup treacle sugar<\/p>\n<p>4 TBSP maple syrup<\/p>\n<p>5ml Banhoek Chilli Oil<\/p>\n<p><strong>Method:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Mix the sugar, butter, and Banhoek Chilli Oil on medium speed for 2-4 minutes until the mixture is light and fluffy.<\/li>\n<li>Add the egg, maple syrup and beat until fully incorporated.<\/li>\n<li>Mix all the dry ingredients together and add to the butter mixture. Mix slowly until fully combined.<\/li>\n<li>Remove the dough from the mixer and divide into two, wrap with cling wrap, and refrigerate for 30minutes.<\/li>\n<li>Preheat the oven to 150\u00bac.<\/li>\n<li>Remove the plastic from the dough wrappings, place on a floured surface and roll the dough out (1\/8 inch thick for a crisp cooking or \u00bc inch thick for a soft cookie).<\/li>\n<li>Cut the cookies with a cookie cutter, make sure to use all the dough.<\/li>\n<li>Place cookies on a baking tray that is lined with a baking sheet and bake for 9 to 10 minutes.<\/li>\n<li>Leave to cool completely<\/li>\n<li>Mix 1 cup confectioners&#8217; sugar and 60ml milk for the frosting, fill a pipping bag and start decorating, enjoy!!<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Share your delicious cookies and tag @banhoekchillioil.<br \/>\nDetails: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.banhoekchillioil.co.za\">www.banhoekchillioil.co.za<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Take all the stresses out of season gifting and holiday hosting with a little help from a fiery old-flame, Banhoek Chilli Oil.
