From the moment you arrive at Sala, you know you are somewhere special. Large, wooden steps lead you down a pathway through lush, subtropical vegetation past the tranquil spa towards the main house.<\/p>\n

As you enter the five-star boutique hotel, you can’t help but stop and take in the exquisite ocean views in front of you. Simply breathtaking. The decor, too, is phenomenal. Muted tones with natural, seascape-inspired palates and a variety of textures make it elegantly upmarket, while still ensuring it remains warm and welcoming.<\/span><\/p>\n

The staff and service are impeccable. It’s five-star luxury from the outset, starting with welcome drinks and hot towels, all the way to finding out what your personal likes and dislikes are (such as the type of milk you’d like in your bar fridge or what snacks you prefer in your room).<\/span><\/p>\n

There are 10 rooms at Sala – four luxury guest rooms and three suites \u2013 all spacious and bright with floor-to-ceiling windows, private balconies and magnificent, oversized bathrooms. No expense has been spared in the rooms, with top-class amenities and considered touches, such as homemade biscuits and locally-sourced coffee, as well as USB ports and international plug points, and the most wonderful high-quality bedding, towels and gowns. There are even yoga mats and dumbbells … if you’re so inclined during your stay.<\/span><\/p>\n

Set slightly away from the main house is the stunning, three-bedroom Sala Villa, which not only has its own living and dining area and full kitchen, but also boasts a private plunge pool and balcony. It’s perfect for families or small groups.<\/span><\/p>\n

There is private beach access to Thompson’s Bay for all Sala guests, and a sundowner and canap\u00e9s around the gorgeous fire pit listening to the waves crash in front of you is an absolute highlight.<\/span><\/p>\n
