\n<\/b>Not wild about the floor? Cover it up with a few rugs to give it your own feel. When you move, just roll them up and take them with you. Similarly, cleverly placed wall art can conceal features you might not like. Before hanging art or other decorative pieces, check if you are allowed to hammer nails into the walls. If not, use lightweight artwork that can be put up using double-sided tape instead.<\/span><\/p>\n

Avoid anything that will need to be fixed to the walls. For example, instead of new light fixtures, buy floor or table lamps. Instead of wall-hung shelves, opt for a freestanding bookshelf. Instead of blinds, hang curtains.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Spruce up a balcony or veranda with a couple of pretty pot plants to give it some life and a lush feel. Add indoor plants in stylish pots for an instant eye-catching feature. When you move, simply take the plants with you.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
