Spoil the family with some delicious potato-crusted baked hake with smashed peas recipe."},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"articles__masthead--meta\"><\/div>\n<div>Serves: 4<\/div>\n<div>Prep time: 10 minutes<\/div>\n<div class=\"articles__legal\">Cooking time: 35 minutes<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<section class=\"articles__section--ingredients\">\n<header><span class=\"firstWord\">Ingredients<\/span><\/header>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>500 g baby potatoes, thinly sliced<\/li>\n<li>3 T butter<\/li>\n<li>sea salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste<\/li>\n<li>250 g frozen peas<\/li>\n<li>1 x 800 g box frozen skinless baby hake<\/li>\n<li>3 cloves garlic, smashed<\/li>\n<li>sage, a few sprigs<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n<section class=\"articles__section\">\n<header>Method<\/header>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>Preheat the oven to 180\u00b0C.<\/li>\n<li>Thinly slice the baby potatoes, then place in a pan with 1 T butter, season, and gently fry for 5 minutes until just cooked. Set aside the potatoes and add the frozen peas and 2 T butter. Season to taste. Fry until the peas are just cooked, remove from the heat, mash roughly, then set aside.<\/li>\n<li>Arrange the frozen skinless baby hake in a cast- iron pan or baking tray with smashed garlic, a few sprigs of sage and season to taste.<\/li>\n<li>Top with the baby potatoes and bake for 20\u201325 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through and potatoes are golden.
