The most Darling hamper ever!
It’s going to be a sweet September. Confectionery brand Darling Sweet, which has grown from a small toffee operation in the village of Darling 11 years ago, has just unveiled its new website … and it’s too scrumptious for words.
Still toffees – ginger snap, honey and salt, and orange and cranberry, mint, rooibos chai, coffee, and chocolate, and more – but also so much more. Soft caramels – our faves are the butterscotch, and mocha java as well as amazing traditional fudge, and two flavours of toffee spreads.
There are gift boxes, hampers, and wonderful turndowns, as well as one-of-a-kind greeting cards featuring hand paintings done by primary school children in the area. While you’re on your sweet buying spree, also have a look at the Swartland Kitchen range – rusks and cookies, granola and sea salt crystals.
The websites worth visiting, too, if you’re planning on being near Darling any time … full of info of the area, things to do, and details on theatre shows presented by Evita Bezuidenhout and Pieter-Dirk Uys.
