21 September – Sunflower Fund – blood stem cell donor drive


Get educated about blood diseases and the importance of becoming a blood stem cell donor at the Sunflower Fund’s Honouring Fallen Heroes event and blood stem cell donor drive at the Olive Convention Centre from 9:30am to 2:30pm on 21 September. There will also be lots of activities, including aerobics sessions, ice skating as well as other health screening tests.

28 September – National Cupcake Day 4 Kids with Cancer

Taking place at 88 malls across SA, this year’s goal is to raise R2 million! Cupcakes of Hope is a non-profit company, which creates awareness for children with life-threatening diseases. So, be sure to buy your cupcakes! Contact them if you’d like to volunteer as a Cupcake Angel by donating cupcakes or helping sell them on the day.
