Ballito Lifestyle Centre is feeling festive and is gearing up for the December/January summer holidays.

The centre’s trading hours will be extended to 8am – 8pm from 12 December – 4 January,
with a few exceptions being 8am – 6pm on 24 December and 31 December and optional trading for tenants on 25 December and 1 January.

Lifestyle SUPERSPAR will be open from 7am – 9pm daily from 13 – 30 December, including all public holidays, aside from Christmas Day, when normal trading hours of 7am – 8pm will apply.

The Market will also operate longer hours, as follows:

12 Dec – 4 Jan: Eateries from 8am – 10pm and retail form 8am – 8pm.

24 Dec: Eateries from 8am – 6pm and retail from 8am – 6pm.

25 Dec: closed.

31 Dec: Eateries from 8am – 6pm and retail from 8am – 6pm.

1 Jan: Eateries from 8am – 10pm, retail will be closed.

An additional seating area, as well as Cumin Coriander, Tree, Science of Coffee and Scoop will be open till late, along with the other eateries.

Meet Santa

From 14 – 24 December, Santa and his face painting elves will be entertaining the little guests outside Lifestyle SUPERSPAR, 10am – 2pm daily.

Wrap it up

Customers will be able to have their purchases from the centre wrapped free of charge at any one of the three gift wrapping stations in operation around the centre from 14 – 23 December, 8am – 8pm, and 24 December, 8am – 6pm.

Movie time!

The monthly Classic Movies on the big screen in The Market will take place on the second Thursday of each month at 6.30pm, with Polar Express showing on 12 December and Fried Green Tomatoes showing on 9 January. Holiday Movies for the kiddies will also take place at 10am on 11 December, featuring How the Grinch Stole Christmas, and 8 January, featuring Paddington.

Good tunes

Live music in The Market and on Eat Street will be ramped up from 7 December to include
performances every day. Visitors can expect to find local musicians playing alongside
the likes of The Kickstands, Qadasi & Maqhinga, Rowan Stuart, Dave Starke, John Ellis and other superb acts. The popular Winston Smile will also be sure to keep it festive! Jazz Sundays on Eat Street will feature bands such as Beat Route, 5th Season Jazz and Jazzadelic performing between 1pm and 4pm every week.

Hello 2020! 

See the New Year in at one of the restaurants on Eat Street, with Take Note performing on 31 December from 7.30pm – 12.30pm. Bookings are essential.
