We chatted to Janet Aldworth, Managing Director of Sure Voyager Travel, about Feast Tours and why modern travellers are seeking more than the usual.
For today’s explorer, it’s not about beaches or clichés. It’s about depth. Modern travel is now about journeys that spark curiosity and create lasting memories.
The art of the unusual
Long before “experiential travel” became a buzzword, Janet was crafting bespoke adventures for those who crave discovery without planning every detail. Feast Tours grew from this vision: curated journeys offering more than food. Think culture, history, learning and shared experiences that linger long after the trip ends.
Nick’s Great Greek Feast
The first Feast Tour set the tone. Partnering with Nick Papadopoulos of Eat Greek fame, Janet launched an 11-day culinary adventure through Athens and Kefalonia. Twenty-one travellers explored flavours, stories, and Greek culture firsthand. The tour was so successful it returns in May 2026.
The bucket list reimagined
Next came Bucket List Garden and Cultural Tours, with horticulturist Chris Dalzell, former curator of Durban Botanical Gardens and Singapore’s Gardens by the Bay. Guests enjoy insider access to extraordinary gardens and immersive experiences, combining natural beauty, culture and exclusivity.
From Greek gastronomy to English gardens, Feast Tours invite travellers to not just see the world, but truly experience it.
