Rico Myburg is a local full-time wedding and videographer with years of experience in the bridal industry. He has put together a few tips to aid in making the booking and execution a dream come true for your special day.
“I’m sure that most brides and grooms have their dream photographer even before they get engaged. In my opinion, the venue and the photographer are the two vendors who you should book as soon as possible,” said Rico.
To make sure your photographer is the right fit, he advised that you schedule a meeting or a video call and ask them a few questions to put you at ease, even before the actual photoshoot takes place.
Questions to ask: Do they have backup systems in place to keep your memories safe? Is there a wedding photography/videography contract?
“Do your research, make sure to read lots of reviews, and don’t be afraid to ask their previous clients about their experience,” he advised.
