Enjoy the festive season events on offer in Bloemfontein this December 

4 The Ons Tuiste centre for the elderly will be hosting a Kersmark on Thursday, 4 December, from 9 am. The centre is hosting its annual Christmas Market and is inviting all of Bloemfontein to get their festive shopping done early.

6 Families with young children have two opportunities to catch Die Ware Wenner at Doxa Deo Church Bloemfontein South, where at 9 am and 11 am on Saturday, 6 December, the story, written by Martin Schwella, will be presented for families to enjoy. 6 Cassper Nyovest will be in Bloemfontein on Saturday, 6 December, as he aims to fill up the Toyota Stadium. Enjoy the opening performances starting at 12 pm, before one of South Africa’s most renowned artists takes to the stage for an unforgettable experience. 7 From 5 pm on Sunday, 7 December, the Bikers Church will host its annual Christmas Carols Charity Run, with riders arriving at the church at 5:30 pm. Riders are encouraged to decorate their motorcycles in Christmas-themed ways and donate a children’s toy as part of their campaign.

7 Music lovers can enjoy The Great Picnic at the Free State Botanical Gardens from 12 pm on Sunday, 7 December. Mo Molemi, along with a live band, will be providing live music entertainment. 13 Airborne Café at Emoya is hosting the Hanger Arena’s seventh event on Saturday, 13 December, with the Summer Music Festival. Enjoy South African artists Barto, Droomsindroom, and Brendan Peyper, as well as a pre-show by Daniel Wesley when gates open at 4 pm. Get tickets at Ticketpro for R300 per person.

13 – 14 For those who love the music of Queen, the Candlelight Tribute to Queen on the Sand Du Plessis Theatre stage offers the perfect opportunity to enjoy their timeless hits.
