Catch Cat & Monkey soon on stage

If you’ve ever found your sense of humour to be a bit on the dark side, boy do we have the perfect play for you…

Cat & Monkey is very loosely based on Le chat et le singe by Charlotte Court and is made long and funny by Retief and von Gericke. The play follows the story of Jessica and Martin, a couple who have discovered the darkest parts of each other’s personalities. What seems like a classic lover’s quarrel soon turns into something much darker, and the audience is taken on a rollercoaster ride of twists and turns. From a winning lottery ticket to cheating scandals and even breaking the law, Jess and Martin will have you laughing and cringing at the same time.

This brand-new dark comedy is a thought-provoking exploration of toxic and co-dependent relationships. Don’t miss out on the chance to enjoy a play that is both hilarious and dark with enough spotlights to reveal all.

Starring the talented Danielle Retief and Rowlen von Gericke, this hilarious play is directed by Karin Retief and will be live on stage from 2 – 6 May.
