Cresta’s gift of joy

‘Tis the season to shop. And making moms and dads spree a little merrier is Cresta Shopping Centre, with a delightful surprise for young visitors.

Near entrance 12, you will find Cresta Town, a merry playground for the little ones to jingle all the play and enter a world that sparks their imagination.

Let your kids roam freely through a pretend mini town, painted in candy land colours and filled with play houses, a play gym surrounding by a race track with push bikes, an arts and crafts zone, and a baking table.

They’ll be able to don a chef’s hat and decorate a treat to take home or make their way to the Fire Station house and dress up as a fighting fireman as they explore the little town.

They can shop toy groceries and dash their trolley around or sit down to create a fun festive keepsake. If they are a little book worm, they will love escaping to the reading corner. Tickets cost R40 per child for an hour. Seating surrounds the merry playground where parents can keep an eye on their kids while they take a breather and grab a caffeine boost or bite to eat from Mugg & Bean.

Also at Cresta this month … Santa (who’ll pose with kids for pics), train rides and gift wrapping stations. Cresta Town is open 10am to 8pm on Monday to Saturday and 10am to 6pm on Sundays and public holidays from December 11 to 24.
