Nothing gets the heart racing like romance and running, and soon you’ll get the chance to experience both!

For the 35th time, lovers, runners, and running enthusiast will lace up their trainers and run for romance at the annual Randburg Harriers Valentine’s Day Fun Run, in partnership with South Africa’s leading fibre network operator, Vuma, and ISP partner Accelerit.

Join a team of thousands for a heart-pounding 10km night run around Randburg. Open to anyone from 15 years old and upwards, the race is a chance to celebrate the spirit of love, camaraderie and community.

Buwi Moeketsi, spokesperson for the Randburg Harriers Running Club, says, “Whether you’re a seasoned runner or just looking for a fun family outing, this promises to be an evening you won’t soon forget.”

The Valentine’s Day Fun Run is sponsored by organisations of all sizes from small, medium and micro enterprises (SMMEs) to large enterprises. All event proceeds will be donated to two charities that are beneficiaries of the club, namely Wandsworth School (previously Wiggles and Squiggles); a school for children with special educational needs, and the Ann Harding Cheshire Homes – established to assist those with physical disabilities.

“Join us for a memorable evening of fitness, camaraderie, and community engagement as we come together to make a positive difference in Randburg. We want all attendees to add a dash of creativity to their night out. Dress up in your most enchanting outfits and let’s see who catches Cupid’s eye,” adds Moeketsi.
