Ocaso … a new Mexican-inspired dining and cocktail destination

Settle in for cocktails, sunsets and spicy dishes at Ocaso Rosebank

The cocktails are flowing. The sun is setting. There is a rich rhythm to the music in the background. You are about to experience Ocaso … a new Mexican-inspired dining and cocktail destination.

Mix us up a tasty cocktail in a relaxed yet vibrant setting and we will be lingering long into the evening. Hand us the cocktail in a Tiki man glass and let us experience the waiter whip us up tableside guacamole from scratch just to our liking… now you have us impressed.
A cocktail that matches the vibe while visiting Ocaso is their The For Del Sol … a mix of Tanqueray Gin, passionfruit, coconut, lime and ginger beer. Their tableside guacamole is a popular hit, and if you are a fan of sending your tastebuds on an adventure, the mini taco tasting board has four different options to indulge in… all boldly delicious. When ordering a main, bring your appetite as they fill your plate. They have all the Mexican faves… quesadillas, enchiladas, empanadas and nachos. And locals love the Pescado A La Parrilla – the flamed-grilled fish.

The décor is stunning, with soft earthy shades, gold tones and natural elements capturing the essence of the space, allowing for both intimacy and connection … think low-slung leather banquettes and round communal tables where you can easily ease into the night. Oversized bohemian beaded lanterns, macramé pillows and an ocean-blue floor all add to the relaxed vibe.

The design was conceptualised with the Corona brand in mind from the outset as it is Corona’s first dedicated flagship venue, created to embody the brand’s love of golden hour moments. The corona sunset corners are a nice touch – especially for taking a break to pose for a selfie.
