The Pink Society Annual High Tea Fashion Show Fundraiser is taking place on Saturday, 12 September at The Country Club Johannesburg.
More than a glamorous afternoon of fashion, The Pink Society is a fundraising initiative supporting the Carmen Cares Foundation, with proceeds helping provide personalised care and support to cancer patients. The event will also give guests the opportunity to contribute towards a wig for a cancer patient, creating a meaningful connection between donor and recipient.
Under the theme “Where Prestige Meets Purpose”, the event brings together fashion, philanthropy, health and powerful personal conversations, with an inspiring programme of speakers, designers, entertainers and personalities.
Highlights include:
- A fashion showcase featuring leading South African designers
- Conversations around cancer awareness, early detection, resilience and living boldly
- Wigs from Carmen Cares Foundation showcased on the runway
- An opportunity for guests to directly contribute towards a wig for a cancer patient
- A charity auction featuring a designer gown and original artwork
- Celebrity models, entertainment and a Best Hat Competition
Taking place from 11am to 2pm on 12 September at The Country Club Johannesburg. Tickets are R550 per person and the dress code is – Glamour. Black and pink.
