The countdown is officially on. Praise the LOUD Fest returns to Sognage in Randburg on Saturday, 24 October!
Following two standout editions in 2025 that firmly established Praise the LOUD Fest as one of South Africa’s fastest-growing independent alternative music festivals, this year’s edition is shaping up to be the biggest yet.
Praise the LOUD Fest is an alternative culture experience with live music, tattoos, food, merch, VIP surprises, good people and all the vibes. This year’s lineup brings together some of South Africa’s most respected names alongside one of its most exciting new acts:
BOO!
One of South Africa’s most iconic alternative rock bands, BOO! remain a beloved name thanks to their unique Monkipunk sound, explosive live performances and a catalogue that helped define the local alternative scene.
Ac/Es
Bringing together acclaimed singer-songwriter Arno Carstens and guitarist, producer and songwriter Evert Snyman, Ac/Es combines decades of experience with a fresh creative energy. Their self-titled debut album earned a 2026 South African Music Award (SAMA32) nomination for Best Rock Album, while the duo was also recognised in the prestigious Duo/Group of the Year category.
Fuzigish
South African punk royalty. After more than two decades of high-energy ska-punk anthems, Fuzigish remains one of the country’s most exciting live acts, delivering the kind of explosive, crowd-driven performance that Praise the LOUD fans have come to expect.
Cutting Jade
With a catalogue packed with memorable hits, soaring melodies and powerful songwriting, Cutting Jade return to the stage with the emotionally charged alternative rock that has made them one of South Africa’s most recognisable independent bands.
Black Heidi
One of SA’s most captivating emerging singer-songwriters, Black Heidi brings her warm, soulful voice and genre-blending sound to the festival. Following the success of “I’m Fine”, which reached No. 1 on the 5FM 5 Nights Indie Chart, “Bullfrog” and her acclaimed debut album Sunshine’s Bright Shiny Beam, she’s fast becoming one of the country’s must-see live acts.
#SOZLOL
The fun DJ duo will close out the night with an infectious party set packed with alternative favourites, seamless mixing and the kind of energy that keeps the crowd going long after the bands have left the stage.

Live tattooing is back, with Luna Black bringing their ink and creativity to the festival once again, because what better souvenir is there than something you can keep forever?
