Local non-profit organisation Heal Better recently hosted a ladies’ brunch at Rietvlei Zoo’s Butterfly Hall.

The event’s purpose was to increase cancer awareness in society and gather cancer packs and kits for patients in hospital oncology centres.

Heal Better’s goal is to aid vulnerable and underprivileged individuals diagnosed with cancer, as they believe that poor health should not result in a loss of dignity.

The event was attended by more than 120 women, who relished a delectable brunch paired with inspiring speeches.

Attendees also had the opportunity to win goodie bags and prizes. Overall, it was a delightful day for everyone.
