This October you are invited to make a special visit to Stepping Stone Hospice & Care Services’ Charity Shop and show your support.

The organisation is totally reliant upon the generosity of the community, public sector, fundraising, bequests, donations in lieu of flowers, patient accounts and the sale of second-hand clothing and goods.

They treat everyone that qualifies despite their financial and social circumstances. The impact of donations to their charity shop and the sale of these items can never be underestimated as it makes up at least 60% of the shortfall on their annual budgeted income.

Whether you donate your second-hand goods or buy from them, it all adds up and helps to keep the hospice’s doors open. The shop welcomes an array of items, including household furniture, general bric-a-brac, clothing, linen, appliances, crockery, cutlery, glassware, books, sporting equipment and more. The shop is open

from 9am to 5pm on weekdays and from 8am to 2pm on Saturdays. Details:
