GALLERY: The buzz at the bee and honey show

There are a few things as tasty as a dash of honey to your midday tea or to spread over your morning toast.

Let’s not forget the dollop added to a fresh scone with cream to enjoy with your afternoon coffee.

And then there are all the add-on benefits of honey to celebrate, and other by-products of these buzzing little working bees added to a variety of natural products.

You can’t deny the goodness that bees bring to the world. The Eastern Highveld Beekeepers Association’s Bee and Honey show was about learning more about bees, generating more support for locally sourced raw honey and raising awareness about beekeeping and bee-related products.

Those visiting the show could choose from several products, and those who were a bit uninformed gained valuable knowledge about bees, honey and other related products.
