It’s drive-in time!

While going to the movies might not be on the cards right now, enjoying an old-school drive-in movie is! We are thrilled with the fact that, from 13 to 30 August, we can enjoy the outdoor entertainment from the safety and comfort of our own cars with a series of awesome blockbuster movies at Parkflix at Suncoast in Durban! This is socially-distanced entertainment at its best.

The events are being hosted by Impi Concert Events in partnership with Marriott Investment Managers and will see up to 200 vehicles tuning in via their FM radio sets from 13 August. Movies are screened on a 12m wide large screen and food can be ordered and delivered on-site, which means you’ll have no reason to leave your car (other than to visit the bathroom).

Movie screenings will be at 6.45pm on Thursday through to Sunday with an additional 2pm screening on both Saturday and Sunday. Tickets are R220 for a car (with two people and R50 for each additional person). The movies coming up are: Bad Boys For Life featuring Martin Lawrence and Will Smith, Star Wars: Rise of the Skywalker, Shrek, Toy Story 4, Notting Hill and Black Panther. Show dates, times and screenings are all available on the Parkflix and Suncoast Facebook pages.
