Just a few of the gorgeous goodies on our wishlist this festive season …

QUICK AND EASY CUSTARD SPOILS
Could there be anything better than a hot Pasteis de Nata, fresh from the oven? We think not. But the thought of actually making them from scratch. Nah. Which is why we’re leaping for joy about the fact we can pick up a packet of half a dozen of these scrumptious Portuguese custard tarts from Farm to Fork.
Brigid’s Pasteis de Nata are frozen, so keep a few packets on hand, and when the craving hits – or guests arrive – simply pop into the oven for 15 minutes, give a quick dusting of icing sugar and cinnamon as they do in Lisbon and … voila! Also look out for the Festive Mince Pie Pasteis de Nata – they’re a limited edition and are, trust us, beyond delish, so worth stocking up on. Details: This festive season, for the first time, both kinds of tarts are available at Farm to Fork, Beach Road, Umdloti.
