Walk away a winner!

RUNNING HAS JUST GONE SO MUCH MORE HIGH TECH.

No longer can you just pop on any old trainers, do a couple of stretches and hit the road. Nope, now it’s all apps and traction and strategic support. Which is all – and so much more – you get when you invest in a pair of Under Armour Trainers. These are from the Infinite 3 range … and are aimed at pro distance runners wanting energy return and efficiency. And that, apparently, is exactly what UA HOVR Infinite 3 delivers. That and real-time Form Coaching. So before you go on your morning jog … read this.

You can connect your shoes to UA MapMyRun for personalized tips to help you run better. This app tracks & analyses your running metrics to help make you a better runner. The UA HOVR technology provides ‘zero gravity feel’ to maintain energy return that helps eliminate impact, and compression mesh Energy Web contains & moulds the foam to give back the energy you put in. The engineered mesh upper is extremely lightweight and breathable, with strategic support where you need it. There is an Internal heel counter for additional support that helps keep the back of the foot locked-in place, and the die-cut, full-length EVA sock liner moulds to the foot, eliminating slippage & providing ideal underfoot comfort. We’re not finished. There are anatomically placed, deep flex grooves, which offer proper flexibility in key areas, and the carbon rubber pods under the heel deliver greater traction and durability at high-impact strike zones. Whew. Exhausted already. They cost R2799.

Then there is the UA HOVR Sonic 4 … A no-brainer for runners who like distance but want more flexibility. It also offers real-time Form Coaching via the UA MapMyRun, which tracks and analyses your running metrics to help make you a better runner. A few other benefits include – the engineered mesh upper is lightweight and breathable, the tongue is attached to the footbed by stretchable support wings to maintain a snug fit throughout the foot and the one-piece heel construction with external TPU heel counter for additional support and structure. That’s not all, the removable sock liner moulds to the foot for customized comfort and the blown rubber under the forefoot and high-abrasion rubber under the heel to help absorb ground contact. R2499.

The UA Tribase Reign 3 is an upgrade of the stable, triangular base of UA TriBase. It now has a larger external heel counter, more rubber traction in a sawtooth pattern and a stretchy, knitted upper to lock you in. With greater grip and durability, full-length Micro G foam midsole for the ultimate in responsive cushioning, all you’ll see is gains. The strategic rubber build under the toe box offers a more powerful floor grip and the low to the ground construction allows for greater feel & power transfer. R2299.
