1. Industrial style
Inspired by old industrial factories, this trend is all about incorporating raw building materials as finishes within your bathroom. There are a few ways of achieving the industrial look in your bathroom, including incorporating raw concrete counter tops, bathtubs and basins or using exposed beams and reclaimed wood.

2. Brass finishes
The brass finish trends allow you to add a little ‘luxe’ into your bathroom. Whether you opt for matt or satin finishes, brass always tend to bring a sense of glam into a space. This can be achieved with various finishes, including faucets, exposed piping, a brass bath mixer with a hand shower and, if you’re feeling brave, even a bathtub!

3. Wooden finishes
As our lives become increasingly busier, we all want (and need) a little bit of calm at the end of a day. Incorporating wooden finishes into your bathroom is great way of bringing a sense of nature and calm into the space. Wooden finishes are also a great way to add texture and layering.

4. Floating vanities
Floating vanities are a great choice for any size bathroom, but more specifically smaller bathrooms. Floating vanities create the illusion of space by making your bathroom appear lighter. Using the trend of a floating vanity is a great way to introduce a new texture into your space as well.

5. Black is the new grey

From black fixtures, tiles and accessories (and if you are feeling very brave, an all-black bathroom), black creates a feeling of luxury and elegance. The key to incorporating and designing a bathroom using black fixtures is the use of texture. You can introduce black into your bathroom by adding a feature wall or black tiles as a way of bringing in texture and a black shower door and accessories will create a chic, simplistic look.
