At Lasersure and Dr Frances Prinsloo Inc, we are often asked if we can stop aging. Unfortunately, the answer to that is simply, ‘no’. Aging is not just a singular process but has many factors that contribute to it. Luckily, we can help with slowing the process down and assist in refreshing and rejuvenating your skin, in order to bring out the best in an already beautiful you!
Due to the aging process being multifactorial, our approach is a holistic one, which uses a combination of therapies to reach our goal. So why combination therapies? Well, when we classify aging, we look at the following features: skin texture and tone, wrinkles, sagging and volume loss, as well as sun damage. Therefore, when assessing a person’s concerns with regards to aging, we want to address all these signs and features and use them as a guide for which therapies are the most suitable to their specific aging needs.
There are many tools on offer in the ever-developing aesthetics field and we are fortunate to be able to offer many of these to our clients to address their anti-aging concerns.
THESE INCLUDE:
• Injectables: filler, toxin, threads and mesotherapy. These are used to diminish fine lines and wrinkles and to replace volume loss or enhance features.
• In-house treatments: Microneedling, PRP, peels (both acidic and alkali), radiofrequency and various laser treatments, namely: Limelight for pigmentation and redness; Laser Genesis, which is the at the forefront for antiaging as it has little to no downtime, is relatively safe in everyone and it can be used in combination with many treatments to work in synergy with them and ND yag Skin tightening.
• Apart from cleansing and moisturizing, we encourage our patients to use SPF, a topical antioxidant and retinol for those in the need.
• Due to our holistic approach, we take into consideration not only external factors such as sun and pollution, but also internal factors, such as hormones. We can do an in-depth analysis of hormones and address any imbalances.
