Set in contemporary Bristol, a disparate group of lawbreakers – from an Oxford-bound high flyer and a sad-sack corporate lawyer, to an Instagram celebutante and a small-time crook – are thrown together to complete a community service sentence.
Now these seven resentful strangers from very different walks of life have to work together to renovate a derelict community centre but, when one of their number gets dragged into a dangerous underworld of organised crime, they unite in ways none of them thought possible. Soon they’re grappling with legal chicanery, budding romance, audacious acts of heroism and unexpected cases of mistaken identity, and realise they have more in common than they first thought.
