Locals and visitors on the North Coast enjoyed two weeks of non-stop seaside sports and festival entertainment at the 2024 Ballito Pro. Families and friends were out and about enjoying a fortnight of warm winter weather, epic surfing action and festival entertainment. Outside of the longest-running professional surfing event, sports enthusiasts were treated to the Ballito Skate Jam and the return of the Engen Ballito Downwind surfski race. In line with the festival ethos, there were lots of community initiatives and activations including the Painting on Purpose Art Activation, Litter4Tokens Awareness Campaign and iLembe Surf Riders Fundraiser.
