Dolphin Coast Residents & Ratepayers Association (DOCRRA) hosted its first ever community conversations event at the Salt Rock Country Club. Over 200 guests took part in this hybrid session, combining their AGM formalities with an opportunity for residents to ask questions and provide feedback on pressing issues facing the Dolphin Coast. A special guest speaker, Julius Kleynhans, from the Organisation Undoing Tax Abuse (OUTA) also spoke on the emerging concept of co-governance and how DOCRRA plays a vital role in that process. Stakeholders from neighbourhood watches, community policing forum, social outreach organisations, as well as other civil society groups were all present in addition to local ward councillors, business owners and representatives from many residential estates.
