The Pencil Club in Umhlanga hosted a solo exhibition for local artist Angelika Anastasis. The collection, titled ‘It’s all about me’, is an exploration of the relationships that women navigate with themselves and with others in a world where the essence of the self is being obscured by the influence of social media and its filters. Her pieces aim to challenge the viewer to confront the subtle self-objectification that comes from the desire to fit in.
