MEET BLANCHE LAMPRECHT – GOLF DIRECTOR
Blanche Lamprecht is an accomplished golf professional with seven years of experience on tour. Together with his wife, Amy, who is also a touring professional, they co-founded A2B Golf Academy. Over the past decade, Blanche has had the privilege of coaching some of South Africa’s most talented amateur and professional golfers, including seven of the country’s top amateur players and DP World Tour champions. With 20 years in the golfing industry, Blanche has gained extensive experience in various aspects of the sport. He has recently taken on the role of Director at Zimbali Country Club, where he is committed to enhancing the course’s reputation as one of the best in South Africa.
MEET RONALD NAIDOO – CHEF
Throughout his career, Ronald Naidoo has crafted exceptional culinary experiences in some of South Africa’s most scenic locations. Now, he brings his passion and expertise to his new role as executive chef at the Zimbali Country Club. Chef Ronald’s journey began as a senior chef at Durban’s Gooderson Leisure Hotel and progressed through pivotal roles, including senior sous chef at the Protea Edward Hotel in Durban, executive chef at the Protea Hazyview hotel in Mpumalanga, and executive chef at Premier Hotels in Pretoria. His extensive background also includes roles as executive chef at the Indaba Hotel in Richards Bay, food and beverage manager at Gooderson Leisure Hotel, executive sous chef at Capital Hotels in Umhlanga, and most recently, executive chef at the Champagne Sports Resort in the Drakensberg. MEET LANCE ROSSOUW – GENERAL MANAGER
After compulsory military service, Lance attended hotel school for three years and commenced a career with Southern Sun Hotels and eventually Sun International spanning 36 years. He ended his career in 2023 with Sun International, as CEO of the Royal Swazi Spa Valley Resort, a property encompassing three hotels, a championship golf course and country club, health spa, a convention centre and other ancillary facilities. Lance is a keen golfer, wildlife enthusiast and music lover and brings a wealth of experience to the team.
