The Ballito Sports Festival, hosted by Reddam House Ballito, recently brought together nine schools for a fun-filled weekend of soccer and netball. Joining the hosts were fellow North Coast schools Ashton International College Ballito, Curro Salt Rock, Eden Village Preparatory School and Maidstone Primary. Reddam House Umhlanga, Atlantic Seaboard and Bedfordview also joined in, along with Durban North Primary School. While the players impressed on the courts and fields, the festivities didn’t stop there. The official opening ceremony featured a lively dance showcase. Former Springbok rugby player Tendai “Beast” Mtawarira also delivered an inspiring speech to the teams and their families.
