Local chef, wife, and mother of two little ones, Marisna Strauss invited Get It to a cooking class that is specially designed for little ones to show us how cooking can bring families together. Having a cooking school for kids has always been Marisna’s dream.

Kiddies Kitchen is a cooking school for kids from 2 – 13 years old.

“I get to live out my passion for kids and the kitchen. During classes, we discuss different ingredients, we taste, we learn new skills and we are having fun! Cooking makes kids feel part of something bigger than themselves, it gives responsibility. Cooking builds self-esteem, they feel as if they accomplished something. Cooking teaches reading and math skills. It makes kids more willing to try new foods.”

NB: Don’t forget to wash their little hands!
