In support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Get It found these events for you to attend to show your support.
Breast Cancer Awareness walk
In partnership with Miss South Africa, Plus Size World, Reach for a Dream Recovery, and Black Woman Arise Women’s Health Foundation, locals are invited to a breast cancer awareness walk that will take place on 28 October 2023 at the Manguang Outdoor Sports Centre in Bloemfontein.
The colour fun walk will furthermore offer health services such as HIV testing, TB screening, and Covid vaccines, among other services on the day.
The registration starts at 07:00 and the official walk is set to take off from 08:00. The theme is white T-shirts.

Pink ribbon gala
The Pink Ribbon Gala: ‘I will survive’ invites locals to honour a loved one who has cancer or passed from cancer.
The gala event will be night filled with elegance, strength and unity. It will be taking place at BON Hotel. Guests can start arriving at 17:30 for 18:00, tickets are R200.
Guests will be celebrating Tanya Pike, (who will also be representing South Africa next year during Miss Plus World International Pageant in America) as well as Jacqueline Masalla, both Cancer Survivors who participated during Miss SA Plus World Grand Finale on the 19th August in Bloemfontein.
