 Be Human Night Market

The popular Be Human Night Market is taking place on Friday 8 December from 5 pm. The market is known for its food and craft stalls, and runs until 10pm, meaning that you will have enough time to take it all in. Grab a R30 ticket, while kids shorter than one metre enter free.

Willem Botha Make-Up Masterclass

If you’re looking to improve your make-up skills, the Willem Botha Make-up Masterclass at 9:30 am on 9 December is not-to-miss. Attendees will learn make-up trade secrets, how to do make-up for special occasions, and even every day wear. Tickets are R480 and available on Computicket.

Hangman’s Kloof Trail Run

Lace your running shoes and discover the hidden trail on Naval Hill on Saturday 9 December. The trail passes various historical landmarks and features. There are two trails to choose from, a 12.5km and an 8.5km. Participation will cost you R120.

Christmas Lights

On Friday 15 December, you can experience Christmas lights in support of the Bloemfontein SPCA. The yearly family fun event will be running throughout the month of December and children will get to meet Santa and his elves. Entry is R30 and the festivities take place from 6 pm to 9 pm.

Blackdoor Experience

Experience the ultimate atmosphere for celebration at the Blackdoor Experience, taking place at Ramblers Club on 16 December from 11 am. The outdoor music and lifestyle event features several local and national artists. Tickets are available from Computicket at R200.

Mangaung Soul Experience

The Mangaung Soul Experience on 23 December will kick off at 10 am at the Rose Garden in Bloemfontein and will go on until 02:00 the following morning. Tickets for the festival are available from Computicket, Shoprite, and Checkers at R200 per person.

 Jewels of the Night Sky

The Naval Hill Planetarium is hosting Jewels of the Night Sky on 23 December from 5 to 6 pm. The show will indicate where one can find a variety of beautiful night sky objects with an unaided eye or binoculars. Tickets are R20 and available on Computicket.
