02: Join Question Art to celebrate six years of the November Art Kulture festival. The all-day event will be hosted at Big Massive Studio to celebrate art, culture and creativity.

02: Take a walk down memory lane with Steve Graham who will be entertaining Bloemfontein with a 60s to 70s retro tribute show at Aasvoël Klub. Tickets are R150 per person. The show starts at 8 pm. For bookings, WhatsApp or contact 084 559 8991.

03: The Botanical Garden is hosting a market filled with art, crafts, clothing, food, craft liquor and a lovely onsite sit-down restaurant. The entry fee is R35 for adults and R20 for children. Contact Marie-Louise Smith at 083 287 8845 for information on how you can get involved as a stallholder.

08-09: Pocahontas, the musical, is taking place at the Wynand Mouton Theatre at the University of the Free State. The musical will include ballerinas, actors and many other surprises. The shows start at 3 pm and 7 pm. Tickets are available on webticket or any Pick n Pay store.

08: Bloemfontein’s biggest rock band, also described as the living legends, Lost Chord, will be rocking ears at Aasvoël Klub. Tickets cost R100 and can be purchased by contacting 084 559 8991.

09: Expect a high-energy performance filled with familiar melodies, sing-along lyrics, and a few surprises that only the Undead Generation can deliver at Chillax. Limited merchandise is still on sale. Come for the music but stay for the vibes.

15: One of Bloemfontein’s favourites, Spoegwolf, will be performing live at Be Human Middelwater Farm at 6 pm. Tickets are R250 per person and can be purchased on Quicket.

22: Kick off the weekend with an incredible night of Afrikaans music with Die Piesangskille. The band will be performing live at Die Watergat at 8 pm. Tickets cost R180 per person on Computicket.

29: The Lig community will be hosting its annual Liggiefees. LIG Gemeente Liggiefees. The guest artist will be Hannes Bosman. Hotdogs, hamburgers and beverages will sold and the entry is free. Contact Jenny at 051 522 0392 for more information.

23: The Odeion School of Music will be hosting a magical evening of festive symphony presented by the Rhapsody Orchestra. This concert will showcase Beethoven’s grand Second Symphony. Leroy Anderson will also be in attendance, presenting A Christmas Festival, which weaves an overture and Christmas carols together.

27: The Munga MTB 2024 is finally here! The Munga runs just over 1,000 km and you have just 120 hours to complete the race. It starts in Bloemfontein and ends at the Doolhof wine estate in Wellington. The route is predominantly off-road and covers some of the most beautiful, and barren, terrain in South Africa. Tickets can be bought from www.myactive.co.za
