Ntokozo Masemola (Dr Nto, as she is affectionaly known) is a Pietermaritzburg prodigy, having spent most her life in this part of the hoods, she is the first black dentist to setup a dental practice in her hometown. Dr Masemola has been practising at Smyleworx Dental since 1997 to date.
Having always had a passion about educating people on the importance of oral hygiene and committed to providing the best dental care through communication and high quality service, Dr Nto, has over 20 years of experience in the dental industry. She recently opened a second practice in Hillcrest to serve the growing community of the Upper Highway.
Graduating with bachelor’s degrees (BDS) from Wits University in 1996, she further obtained her postgraduate diploma in management from UKZN. She continues to further her skills and knowledge by continuously attending dental courses, congresses and through online dental education.
Dr Nto has vast experience in working with children, adolescents, adults, geriatrics and people with special needs. She is especially known to have a calming effect on people who suffer from dental anxiety.
Together with her team, Dr Nto would love to welcome all new patients to visit them at her new Hillcrest practice, and she promises to make your visit worthwhile.
